OnlyItaly Custom Italian Travel, a small boutique travel company, has been creating unique and immersive travel experiences since its founder, Mary Ervolina, established the business in 2007.
Mary was born into an Italian American family and fell in love with all things Italian at a very young age. Time spent in the homes of her Neapolitan and Sicilian relatives listening to stories of the “old country”, cooking with her Italian Grandmother, and frequent visits to her family in the mountains of Sicily continued to nourish her curiosity and passion for Italy.

Mary spent time studying and working in Italy, and fell in love with the culture, the landscape, the delizioso food and, most of all, the warm and generous Italian people. After reluctantly returning to the United States, Mary continued to travel to Italy on countless occasions.
Family, friends, and friends of friends learned of her adventures, and soon began asking her to share favorite restaurants, outstanding guides, unique hotels, and special places to visit…and that is how OnlyItaly Custom Italian Travel was born! Mary returns to Italy several times each year in a quest to discover creative, unusual, and immersive experiences for her clients.
Since the beginning, Mary has strived to work with local people and businesses. This approach offers clients exceptional experiences, and also brings benefits to local communities, supporting their ability to sustain long traditions in the arts, food, wine and overall culture of the regions.
I’ll advise you where preplanning is necessary for “skip the line access,” and when it is best to let serendipity be your guide. I’ll do all the researching—from the hole-in-the-wall hidden gems, to the can’t-miss cooking classes, wineries, museums, neighborhoods, and food, of course, lots of good food.
Your only tasks are to purchase your plane ticket, be sure your passport is in order, pack and go. I will take care of the rest, from gate to gate.
